Kensington SD3600 Dual Display Dock for Windows, MacBooks, Surface

The Kensington SD3600 Universal Docking Station preserves the convenience of one-cable connectivity for your entire desktop setup. With this universal dock, you can easily disconnect and reconnect your dual HD monitors, mouse, keyboard, and other peripherals using just a single USB cable. Additionally, the dock can be mounted to the back of a monitor, leaving zero footprint on your desktop.

This universal USB Type "A" Dock is compatible with laptops that have a USB-A port and can also be used with a USB-C laptop using a USB-C to USB-A adapter. It is also compatible with Surface Pro 8/7/6/5/4, Surface Laptop 3/2/1, Surface Book 3/2/1, and MacBooks (Mac OS version 10.14 and later) with a USB-C to USB-A adapter.

The dock features 2 SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports (backwards compatible to USB 2.0) that support high-speed data transfer up to 5Gbps, as well as phone charging. It also includes 4 USB 2.0 ports for peripherals such as keyboards, mice, printers, and other accessories, along with Gigabit (10/100/1000) ethernet and external headphone and microphone jacks with audio 2.0 for enhanced sound quality.

With a dual display resolution of up to 2048x1152@60Hz, including 1080P video via HDMI and DVI, and a single display resolution of up to 2560x1600@60Hz (including QHD 2560x1440) via HDMI, the dock also allows for adding a third monitor using a USB-A to DVI Display Link adapter (Kensington part #K33974AM or similar). DVI-to-VGA and DVI-to-HDMI adapters are included for greater monitor compatibility, and a power supply is included to power the dock and all the ports (although it does not supply power to a laptop).

The dock is Vesa mountable and includes a Kensington lock slot for Macbooks. For Macbooks, the latest Display Link drivers can be downloaded from the Display link website.

Additional features include dual 1080p HD video to an external monitor via HDMI, VGA, or DVI, 2 front USB 3.0 ports supporting high-speed data transfer up to 5Gbps, 4 rear USB 2.0 ports for peripheral accessories, and a VESA mounting plate (Dock Mount K33959WW sold separately) that allows the dock to be taken off the desktop and placed on the back of an external monitor. Display settings software is also included to easily make changes to your preferences.
