Kensington Triple 4k Display Docking Station - Windows, MacBooks, Surface - 60W PD; USB-C, Thunderbolt 3/4 & USB-A

The SD4900P USB-C and USB 3.0 Triple 4K Hybrid Docking Station is designed to expand connectivity and deliver stunning 4K video for up to three monitors. It features triple 4K video output (HDMI or DP), a unique design with support for USB-A and USB-C laptops, and a 3-in-1 card reader.

This USB-C docking station is compatible with triple 4K DisplayLink displays for MacBooks, Dell, HP, Lenovo, ASUS, MSI, and other Windows PCs, Surface Pro, Surface Book, Surface Laptop, and Chromebooks. It works with USB-C, USB-A, and Thunderbolt 3/4 laptops (at USB-C speeds), including triple display support for all MacBooks (M1, M1 Pro, M2, M2 Pro, M2 Max, and earlier).

For non-Alt-mode USB-A and USB-C Windows laptops, the docking station provides dual 4K via DisplayLink. The video resolution for a triple monitor with USB-C Alt Mode Laptop & Surface (as well as MacBooks with a USB-C/TB3/TB4 port) is two displays at 3840x2160@60Hz and one display at 3840x2160@30Hz. For USB-C non-Alt-mode and USB-A laptops, it offers two displays at 3840x2160@60Hz. There are six video ports (three HDMI and three DP++).

The 3-in-1 Card Reader can read standard SD cards (SD 4.0 up to UHS-II), smartphone Micro SD cards (SD 3.0, up to UHS-I), and DSLR camera CF cards (v6.0 up to UDMA 7). Additionally, there is a 3.5mm combination headphone/speaker/microphone port.

The docking station comes with a 1M USB-C cable for connection to the laptop. The 135W power provides 60W laptop charging (Windows laptop must accept Power Delivery) plus power for peripherals. It includes one USB-C 3.1 Gen2 (10Gbps, 9V/2A charging), one USB-A 3.1 Gen2 (10Gbps, 5V/2.4A fast charging), and four USB-A 3.1 Gen1 (5Gbps, 5V/0.9A charging).

It also comes with a 3-year warranty and lifetime technical support. There is a Kensington lock slot for securing the investment (lock sold separately, see part #K60600WW). The dock is Vesa mountable with a Vesa mounting bracket (sold separately, see part#K34050WW).

The dock supports the Gigabit Ethernet standard, providing a maximum data rate of 1Gbps. Actual Ethernet speeds may vary depending on factors such as Internet bandwidth, Ethernet cables, network switches, and the hardware and firmware performance of the host computer.
